ZOMBICIDE 2ed: Dont open, DEAD INSIDE!

There is something strangely satisfying in killing zombies. Or maybe its just us, players who have a serious problem. Either way, Zombicide 2ed is a BLAST! 

The title of this article is not lying: if you open the gigantic box of the game, inside its full of plastic little monsters. Dozens of them, each numbered under the base, so that you can see if none is lost during dozens of plays. Because you will play this game A LOT. 

Or not, if you prefer eurogames.

Zombicide 2 is a "bier and pretzels" game and doesnt pretend to be anything else. You roll dice and kill zombies, which spawn every round based on random card effects. You level up (adrenaline meter) and get better skills, but paralelly rise the threat level. This way you get stronger, but more zombies will come. 

There is the boring walker with you "End is nigh" sign, the fat sumo wrestler (or what that is), the runner (can move and attack you in the same turn) and the BBE Abomination. That monster can be killed only with a molotow, which is to find in the equipment cards deck. And there is exactly ONE molotov. So better be quick on those roller skates, when you try to complete a mission, and hope the BBE doesnt show up.

Funny thing is, only 2 of the kids heroes have the +1 DMG skill, so you have to play at least one of those kids in your team and level it up FAST, or pray for the molotow. This was an interesting decision to make the game unpredictable and sometimes quite hard. 

But what sense would it make, if the zombie apocalypse would be a routine walk trough the garden?

What I love about Zombicide is the killing. Each weapon has different stats and you literally FEEL its use when you roll the number of dice you need to roll. Fireing two UZIs at the same time and rolling 6 dice is just a lot of fun. Of course UZI is not very precise so you need 5+ to hit...

But who cares, just shoot, man! 

VERDICT: This is a simple, solo very well playable turn based zombie killing mayhem with missions and lots of fun.
